Our 2016 QDO Featured Quilter
My love of quilting began in 1980, and I ventured into my first quilting class at the "old" New Albany Library.  My desire to learn everything about quilting also took me to classes at Baers and the Cotton Patch.  I began frequenting The Quilt Corner in Pekin, Indiana, where I met Lora Nale.  Lora quickly became a mentor and friend.  Her knowledge and assistance was invaluable as I grew in my quilting precision.  Lora sold her shop to The Quilting Bee in Georgetown/
Edwardsville, Indiana.  I now work and play at The Quilting Bee, and I have met some of the most wonderful people who visit the shop.

In 2014, I entered two quilts in The Bluegrass Quilt Festival and received two third place ribbons.  In 2015, I won my division and the overall Best of Show.  What a wonderful surprise and Beginner's Luck !!
