2019 FEATURED QUILTER

My grandmother tried to teach me about Grandmothers Flower Garden when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I did not catch on!! Then several years later, around 23 years later I started taking a few classes with a friend and joined a quilt guild. That is when my love for quilting began. I loved the variety of quilt blocks n quilting that created so many beautiful quilts, loved experimenting with fabric. I got so engrossed in it, I opened a quilt shop in 1998 and met so many nice people. It opened so many doors to new friends, new experiences and learning so many techniques. In 2006 I decided to sell the shop to what is now known as Quilting Bee in Georgetown Indiana.

In 2010, I decided to open a retreat center and again I met many more great ladies. Now I spend everyday doing what I love. Quilting and taking care of retreaters.
